What does a voice score measure?
Scores reflect speaking clarity, vocal quality, communication, pace, and acoustic stability based on metrics such as jitter, shimmer, HNR, and CPPS. For education and self-improvement only.
Can teachers or coaches use this tool?
Yes. Educators, voice coaches, podcasters, and public speakers use it for practice feedback and tracking speaking habits over time.
Is this tool medical advice or a diagnosis?
No. My Voice Score is for education and entertainment only. It is not medical advice, does not diagnose conditions, and is not a substitute for a qualified health professional.
Can I use this for presentations, interviews or podcast practice?
Yes. Record a short spoken excerpt to explore clarity, pace, fillers and delivery. Use similar recording conditions when comparing clips. Scores describe the sample; they do not predict interview success or audience response.
Does My Voice Score test singing ability or identify my voice type?
No. The main test analyzes a short speaking sample. It does not classify singing voice type, measure a complete singing range or grade singing ability. The pitch calculator works with measurements you enter yourself.
Which language is supported for speech analysis?
The current transcription pipeline is configured for English. Use spoken English for transcript-based feedback such as pace, filler control and pronunciation. This is not an accent rating or language proficiency test.
